Sustainability / A bridge in Ariel Sharon Park Proposal for the competition

With the close of the Hiriya landfill site in the late 1990s, an outline plan was prepared for the rehabilitation of the site.
Part of this plan includes an array of regional connections. The bridge presented in the exhibition is part of these connections.
Rehabilitation of the Hiriya site (now Ariel Sharon Park) is one of the first and most significant projects that marked the change in Israel’s environmental consciousness. This project was a turning point in the awareness development of sustainable design approaches and in the responsibility of the construction industry and project planners for sustainability.
